I stayed in the cottage Portland room. It was a superb flatlet with fantastic amenities. I booked a meal in the pub restaurant, and the food was lovely. Breakfast was included, and my room featured comfortable décor with a cool nautical theme.
The photos online were slightly misleading.

the staff were very helpful, friendly, really making a difference. we stayed an extra night, because we didn't want to go home. the little extras for us and the dogs are appreciated.
the room got really hot, and we couldn't open the window more than four inches. the heating was on, so we stayed out as long as possible and left early.

The building is close to a popular pub, locals frequent it often, and that is great. it's also convenient that off street parking is available . We didn't have any issues finding a spot.

the rooms are lovely and some even have dedicated entrances to the building! portland has a small kitchen and a washing machine. if you prefer the continental way. breakfast in the pub offers typical english options.

the staff were accommodating, which really enhanced our experience. they were very friendly and tried to cater to our needs, even offering alternatives if we had specific requests. the service was attentive.

Portland Cottage Flatlet Rules!

The cottage Portland room was a superb flatlet, I must say! It was fantastic and super clean. I appreciated having a washing machine and other useful facilities. Staff was super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The shower was very small, so it wasn't easy to move around in there.

The room featured decor with a cool nautical theme. I found variety of beverages to choose from right in my room. The bed was super comfy with very quiet too.

The breakfast choice was great, especially the excellent cooked breakfast. I find the location of the hotel is close to town. The fact that they put bowls for dogs is nice and they gave little gifts upon arrival.
